Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell sit within a few blocks of each other in Old City, among cobbled streets and brick houses. Center City, around City Hall and its tower, holds the offices and the Reading Terminal Market.
The Benjamin Franklin Parkway climbs to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and its steps, made famous by Rocky. The Benjamin Franklin Bridge links the city to New Jersey; the Schuylkill Expressway, for its part, clogs at rush hour.
The direct flight leaves Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle and lands at Philadelphia International, only eleven kilometres south-west of downtown: one of the shortest airport-to-city runs in the United States. We handle the Paris side of the journey, outbound and inbound.
30th Street Station is the city’s real advantage: it sits on the Northeast Corridor, with frequent trains to New York in a little over an hour and on to Washington. Many travellers bound for New York do better landing here than at JFK or Newark, then taking the train.
