The Peninsula opened in 2014 in a Haussmann building from 1908, long the Hôtel Majestic and then a conference centre for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Paris peace accords on Vietnam were signed here in 1973.
Avenue Kléber
The restoration took four years. The rooftop restaurant L’Oiseau Blanc is named after Nungesser and Coli’s aircraft, a replica of which sits on the terrace, facing the Eiffel Tower.
Arriving by car
Avenue Kléber links the Étoile to the Trocadéro: wide, two-way, with an easy drop-off under the canopy. The area is restricted on ceremony days at the Arc de Triomphe.
