Al-Balad holds the city’s history: narrow lanes, coral houses and worked wooden balconies, restored over the past few years. The corniche lines up parks, promenades and the Al-Rahmah mosque, built on piles above the water.
The rest of the city spreads out along the coast, between business districts and shopping malls. Distances are long and the heat is heavy: everything is done in an air-conditioned car.
The flight leaves Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle and lands at King Abdulaziz International, some twenty kilometres north of the centre. We handle the airport drop-off on the way out and meet you on the way back, with your flight number on file and waiting time included.
