Les Mureaux stretches along the Seine, between the riverbanks, residential districts and a large industrial site working in aerospace. The town is far from Paris and the railway line sets its own timetable. A car booked in advance makes early departures and late returns much simpler. Roissy is reached by the A13 then the A86 and the A15 depending on the hour, and Orly around the south of the bend. Beauvais stays accessible to the north.
