Cheval Blanc Paris opened in 2021 in the Art Deco wing of La Samaritaine, restored over sixteen years. The entrance is on quai du Louvre, between the Pont-Neuf and the department store.
Quai du Louvre
The hotel has only twenty-six rooms and suites, almost all facing the Seine. The seventh-floor pool looks out over the river, and Arnaud Donckele set up his kitchen on the top floor, under the glass roof.
Arriving by car
Quai du Louvre runs along the upper riverside road and traffic is heavy at rush hour. Drop-off is right outside the hotel; the Pont-Neuf gets you to the Left Bank without going back through Châtelet.
