Sahn Drive covers these transfers, plus the road link to Paris, Geneva 150 km away and the Alpine resorts.
The Presqu’île is largely pedestrian between Bellecour and Les Terreaux: drop-off happens on the quays. Vieux Lyon, cobbled and narrow, is poor ground for a car, and Fourvière is climbed by hairpins or by funicular.
The tunnels under Croix-Rousse and Fourvière change journey times completely depending on the hour.
