Of the twelve hundred islands, some two hundred are inhabited and around a hundred hold resorts, one hotel per island.
Malé, the capital, fits on a two-square-kilometre island, one of the most densely populated cities in the world.
The resorts are reached by seaplane or speedboat from Velana airport, depending on distance.

Are there any car journeys?
Very few: everything goes by boat or seaplane. We handle the road legs on Malé and Hulhumalé.
How does the airport meet-and-greet work?
