Meudon rises in steps above the Seine: Bellevue and its view over Paris at the top, Meudon-sur-Seine at the bottom, and Meudon-la-Forêt on its own, almost a town within the town. The hillside streets are narrow and steep.
Orly is 15 km away, Roissy-CDG 33, Le Bourget 27. For an early departure with suitcases we usually agree on a meeting point on a wider road.
The three parts of Meudon barely touch: the riverside, the hillside and the forest district each have their own approaches, and the shortest way between them is rarely the obvious one.
