The French Basque Country lies between the ocean and the first foothills of the Pyrenees. Biarritz and Saint-Jean-de-Luz on the coast, Bayonne at the confluence, Espelette, Ainhoa and Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port inland.

Do you cross into Spain?
Yes: San Sebastián, Bilbao and Pamplona are reachable within the day, with no particular formalities, with the same chauffeur and the same vehicle.
