Boulevard Kukulcán runs the length of the sand spit, hotels on one side, lagoon on the other: addresses here are given by the kilometre. The Mayan site of El Rey and the Cancún Mayan museum sit inside the hotel zone; the town itself lives separately, a few kilometres inland.
Ferries for Isla Mujeres leave from Puerto Juárez, those for Cozumel from Playa del Carmen, seventy kilometres south. Chichén Itzá is two hours away by road, Tulum an hour and a half.
The direct flight leaves Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle and lands at Cancún International, some twenty kilometres south of the hotel zone. We handle the Paris side of the journey, outbound and inbound, with your flight number on file and waiting time included.
Two points come up often: the airport has several terminals, with European and American flights not arriving in the same one, and moving between them means a shuttle; and from June to November the hurricane season can shift a flight at short notice.
