The 10th holds the two largest stations in northern Paris, three hundred metres apart, and the Canal Saint-Martin cutting diagonally across it. It is one of the densest and most congested districts in the city.

Roissy is reached via Porte de la Chapelle then the A1, Orly through southern Paris or the A6. Beauvais means more road, so we leave earlier.

Where do we meet at Gare du Nord?
